All our wining and dining venues are designed with the weather and our guests in mind; open air, letting the sea breeze waft in, with wooden furniture and comfortable seating, Summer Island Maldives dining is an experience and one that allows you to absorb natures gifts while relishing your food and refreshments.

SAMUGA

With the emphasis of serving fresh, well-prepared cuisine from all corners of the world, the name Samuga is the Dhivehi word for the decisive compass that guides our chefs across the globe to bring you the best of international flavour. The restaurant’s main focus is the live cooking station, where you watch your food being prepared right in front of you. It also has its own pizza oven cooking up its signature herb fragrance as you dine. Samuga restaurant offers a buffet service and has a seating capacity of 284 covers. Samuga also caters to pre-booked, outdoor dining pavilions for intimate candlelit celebrations right on the beach where there is no dress code and certainly no shoes! NEVI

MAIN BAR Nevi, being the local word for 'The Captain' - the navigator of the ship, the main bar will steer your evening in the right direction in true island laid-back style. Located on the beach with a sunset view, Nevi offers a great selection of drinks for the all-inclusive guests as well as a large selection of cocktails, wines and spirits to choose from. Morning, noon and night, the Nevi bar is primed and ready with capable, trained staff to respond quickly to your needs and satisfy your cravings whether it be a pre-lunch beer or wine, a delicious high-tea in the afternoon, a selection of snacks throughout the day or a cooling gelato selection to top off your suntanning. With its wooden furniture and sofas, and the ever-soothing sea breeze, Nevi is the liveliest place on the island to sit back, relax and connect. On selected days there is a disco with a DJ, or live music, to liven up your summer nights. All-inclusive drinks are available at NEVI from 9 am to 12 pm. Serves all-inclusive drinks from 09:00 hours to midnight. Nevi Bar will have a large bar counter area with seating outside, facing the seafront on the sunset side of the island A snack menu is also available at Nevi bar offering pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and other snacks including an ice cream menu are available. Hi-tea for All inclusive guests will be served at Nevi Bar from 16:30 hours to 17:30 hours. Plated snacks (1 savory and 1 sweet) will be served for all-inclusive guests. A Recreation area with a billiard table, dartboard, table tennis and other indoor games. Nevi Bar will also serve drinks to the swimming pool.

HIYA

OVERWATER BUFFET RESTAURANT Hiya, the local word for shade or shelter, is the perfect place for quieter meals with friends and loved ones. Specially designed for our Premium Beach Villa and Water Villa clients for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant on a raised deck makes the most of the lapping waves; letting the picturesque horizon meld with the soothing spirit of the sea as the dreaminess of the entire scene becomes the backdrop to your candlelit meal at hiya restaurant. hiya serves international cuisine in a buffet service, and has 72 covers. Serves semi-buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner for Premium Beach Villa and Water Villa guests 14-day rotating menu Breakfast: 07.00am until 10:00am Lunch service: 12:00 pm until 02:00 pm (every Friday lunch at 01:15pm ) Dinner service: 07:30 pm until 09:30 pm Guests with children under 15 years staying at Premium Beach Villas will be assigned Samuga Restaurant for their meals.

AVI

COCKTAIL LOUNGE, AND SUN DECK Avi, an intimate, deluxe restaurant & bar seating just 30 persons, is named after the rays of the sun that grace its floors. Created on an over-water deck, it is bathed in light during the daytime. The bar, open from 11am till midnight, serves premium cocktails and branded drinks. The restaurant has an a la carte menu serving freshly caught seafood, a collection of tapas and juicy steaks, and is open from 5 pm onwards. Avi lends its tropical ambience for pre-dinner drinks and for special celebrations. With comfy seats on the deck, and its exciting selection of food and drinks, this is the place for that special tropical experience that will be long remembered. Just the place for a last night holiday farewell perhaps. A la Carte Dining with indoor and outdoor seating Menu emphasizing on regional seafood, pizzas, steaks and tapas - Serves Dinner Bar opens from 11 am to 12 midnight Serves premium brands of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and extensive cocktail menu and signature drinks are served.

IN-VILLA DINING

Room service is available at Summer Island Maldives to suit your convenience. From 10 am to 10 pm, you need not let your dining be dictated by pre-set times, instead you can plan your dining according to your own tropical timetable – as early or as late best suits you. Summer Island Maldives has its own special Room Service menu with extra charges.

Situated over the lagoon with a magnificent, uninterrupted view of the endless sea and an open design infusing it with the scent of the ocean breeze, your spa visit will be a revitalising and relaxing experience - guaranteed. Firuma, the local term for ‘healing touch’ is exactly what is guaranteed from your experience with Serena Spa. With five spacious treatment rooms, including a couple’s massage room, each with its own en-suite; a steam room that makes the most of the view with the sunset for added ambience and a lounge area to relax before and after the treatment. The entire experience is designed to soothe the mind and body, setting you up for the day ahead or a night of wining, dining and fun. The spa offers a selection of relaxing and refreshing wellness treatments and massages, as well as manicures, pedicures and facials. INFINITY POOL Sitting in our Infinity Pool makes you feel as though you own the world, at least for a few minutes. The perfect place to spend relaxation time, sipping on chilled cocktails served by the restaurant. FISHING Fishing is one of the things the Maldivians do best. If rod and line is your fancy and particularly night fishing, which will not disappoint the enthusiast or the first-timer, then add adventure to your summer nights with a bit of fishing. GYM AND SPORTS For those who do not let a holiday get in the way of their daily exercise, Summer Island Maldives has its own gymnasium and pilates studio equipped with modern gym equipment. BOUTIQUE The Koka Boutique, named after the fluttering butterfly, is located near the reception, offering all the holiday basics such as sunscreen and flip-flops, as well as Summer Island Maldives branded merchandise to pop in your suitcase and remind you of our endless summer. LOUNGE What better place to watch the world go by; the Summer Island Maldives lounge is open air, overlooks the arrivals jetty and is a great place to chillax. The lounge area has premium internet access, with its own computers as well as seating for those who have their own laptops and tablets. EXCURSIONS So you want to explore and discover more of the Maldives? That couldn't be easier as there are a variety of excursions and island hopping trips available to book on which you could see more of the real Maldives. SNORKELLING We organise four trips daily to nearby reefs to see beautiful examples of underwater life. LIBRARY We have a wide collection of books so don't worry if you finish your gripping novel, there will be plenty of other options waiting for you. FREE WIFI We have free wifi across the island. You don't need to use it though if you really want to escape!
